Why Kirkman's Camp?

Kirkman’s Camp is located above the Sand River in the world-renowned Sabi Sand Reserve, forming part of the Greater Kruger region.

Experience

Named after one of the early conservationists, W. Harry Kirkman, the lodge is decorated in 1920’s style with French doors, rolling lawns & a tennis court.

Stay

This Victorian homestead features 12 luxury cottages that are spread across the property. Each cottage has an en-suite bathroom with a ball-&-claw bath as well as a private verandah with spectacular views over the bush.

The main lodge area consists of a lounge with fireplace, dining area, gym, swimming pool & outside boma area where dinners are often enjoyed under the African skies.

Activities

Located in Big 5 territory, game drives are always exhilarating. Guests can partake in 2 daily game drives, each lasting up to 3.5 hours. Guided bush walks are also offered & perfect for those wishing to get closer to nature.

Weather permitting, bush dinners can also be arranged. What is more special than eating under the stars while listening to the sounds of Africa?

Chitwa Chitwa is set on one of the largest lakes in the exclusive 63,000 hectares Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. Dulini River boasts a spectacular setting in the world-renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, right on the edge of the Sand River. Elephant Plains

Elephant Plains is located within the heart of the Sabi Sand Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park in South Africa. The lodge is great for families & offers excellent Big 5 game viewing as well as some of the rarer species, such as African wild dog & cheetah. Elephant Plains accommodates a maximum of 24 guests in 6 luxury suites, 5 thatched rondavels & 1 honeymoon suite.

Leopard Hills is set on a hill overlooking a natural waterhole within the wildlife-rich Sabi Sand Reserve & bordering South Africa’s famed Kruger National Park. Lion Sands Ivory Lodge

Lion Sands Ivory Lodge is built on the banks of the Sabie River in the world-renowned Sabi Sand Reserve, with views extending onto the open sandbanks of the Kruger National Park. Londolozi Founders Camp is located within the heart of the world-renowned Sabi Sand Reserve in the Greater Kruger region. Ulusaba Rock Lodge

A typical home-away-from-home camp, Umkumbe is the kind of place where you can enjoy the comforts of the bush without spending an arm & a leg on an authentic safari experience. Umkumbe consists of only 10 rooms & suites, most of which have fantastic views of the Sand River or waterhole. There are 7 superior suites & 3 standard rooms.
