Shamwari Sarili is an exclusive use African thatch designed villa with a spacious deck overlooking the Bushman’s River & is ideal for families or small groups looking for a private safari experience.
Since the villa is booked on an exclusive use basis, guests will have the advantage of having personal staff, including a house manager, private chef & ranger.
The décor emulates an old traditional farmhouse with interiors that reflect an easy living home lifestyle in a natural environment.
Sarili consists of 5 luxury rooms, sleeping a maximum of 10 guests. Each air-conditioned room includes an en-suite bathroom with underfloor heating as well as a bath & shower.
The main area boasts a child-friendly swimming pool, indoor & outdoor dining area & a large lounge with TV & fireplace.
Activities
Shamwari’s diverse wilderness area makes Big 5 game viewing easy. The reserve is home to lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo & rhino as well as plenty of plains game & over 200 varieties of raptors & birds.
Private daily safari drives are conducted in open 4x4 vehicles. Your dedicated ranger will take you on a journey through the bushveld & ensure close encounters with South Africa’s wildlife. Nature walks, spa treatments & photographic courses can also be arranged.
Guests staying at Shwamwari can also get involved in the Wildlife Rehabilitation Programme or the Born Free Big Cat Sanctuary where the focus is on conservation.
