LITTLE OLIVER’S CAMP

Kuro Tarangire Camp

Kuro Tarangire is named after the life-giving Tarangire River & discreetly tucked into a grove of secluded riverine bush in its namesake’s National Park. It is not uncommon for elephants to pass right through the camp on their way to the Sllale Swamp to drink & play. In fact, Tarangire is renowned for its massive herds of elephants & buffaloes that often attract hungry predators on the prowl for food. This back-to-basics tented safari camp allows guests to immerse themselves in nature with as few distractions as possible.

Lemala Mpingo Ridge

Perched on top of a cliff with jaw-dropping views over the Tarangire River, lies the beautiful Lemala Mpingo Ridge. In dry season – between June & October, this water source becomes a drawcard to Tarangire National Park’s large herds of buffalo, elephant & giraffe – a wonderful sight to behold. Tarangire may not be as well known as the iconic Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater but offers an intimate & unspoilt safari experience. The park is famed for its tree-climbing lions, big herds of elephants & the unusual long-necked gerenuk.

Little Oliver's Camp

Little Oliver’s Camp is situated in the secluded south-eastern sector of Tarangire National Park, just downstream from its famous sister, Oliver’s Camp.
