Why Ulusaba Safari Lodge?

Ulusaba Safari Lodge is located within a secluded section of the Sabi Sand Reserve on the banks of a dry riverbed, beneath ancient Jackalberry trees.

Because the lodge is built in a game-packed area, guests have ample opportunity to see wildlife passing by from the main viewing deck or the swing bridges & wooden walkways.

Ulusaba Safari Lodge consists of 9 rooms & suites, individually designed with décor that incorporates modern & traditional African art. There is 1 Safari room, 3 Elephant rooms, 2 River rooms, 2 River rooms with plunge pools & 1 exclusive Treehouse Suite – ideal for honeymooners looking for a private piece of paradise.

Some areas are accessed by rustic swing bridges & wooden walkways. The main area includes a spacious lounge, bar & dining room with impressive open fireplaces.

Arathusa Safari Lodge lies in the world-renowned Sabi Sand Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park in South Africa. The lodge is built on the edge of a waterhole where plenty of animal activity takes place. Chitwa Chitwa is set on one of the largest lakes in the exclusive 63,000 hectares Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park. Dulini River

Dulini River boasts a spectacular setting in the world-renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, right on the edge of the Sand River. With a remarkable river location, it is not surprising to spot animals from the comfort of your suite or the lodge’s main viewing deck. Dulini River consists of 6 elegant & spacious suites with dramatic close-up views of the river. Each air-conditioned suite is equipped with a beautiful en-suite bathroom with an indoor & outdoor shower as well as a private plunge pool & viewing deck.

Elephant Plains

Elephant Plains is located within the heart of the Sabi Sand Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park in South Africa. The lodge is great for families & offers excellent Big 5 game viewing as well as some of the rarer species, such as African wild dog & cheetah. Elephant Plains accommodates a maximum of 24 guests in 6 luxury suites, 5 thatched rondavels & 1 honeymoon suite.

Kirkman's Camp

Kirkman’s Camp is located above the Sand River in the world-renowned Sabi Sand Reserve, forming part of the Greater Kruger region. Named after one of the early conservationists, W. Harry Kirkman, the lodge is decorated in 1920’s style with French doors, rolling lawns & a tennis court. This Victorian homestead features 12 luxury cottages that are spread across the property. Each cottage has an en-suite bathroom with a ball-&-claw bath as well as a private verandah with spectacular views over the bush.

Leopard Hills

Leopard Hills is set on a hill overlooking a natural waterhole within the wildlife-rich Sabi Sand Reserve & bordering South Africa’s famed Kruger National Park. This luxurious lodge provides jaw-dropping views over the African bush. This southern section of the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve is “Big 5 Paradise.” The lodge’s prime waterhole location is fantastic because animals often make their way here for a drink. Lion Sands Ivory Lodge

Lion Sands Ivory Lodge is built on the banks of the Sabie River in the world-renowned Sabi Sand Reserve, with views extending onto the open sandbanks of the Kruger National Park. Londolozi Founders Camp is located within the heart of the world-renowned Sabi Sand Reserve in the Greater Kruger region. The root of the word ‘Londolozi’ is the Zulu word for protect & means ‘protector of all living things’ – therefore a strong emphasis is placed on conservation & sensitivity to nature. Umkumbe Safari Lodge is located on the banks of the Sand River in the Sabi Sand Reserve, a private concession right next to the Kruger National Park. A typical home-away-from-home camp, Umkumbe is the kind of place where you can enjoy the comforts of the bush without spending an arm & a leg on an authentic safari experience. Umkumbe consists of only 10 rooms & suites, most of which have fantastic views of the Sand River or waterhole. There are 7 superior suites & 3 standard rooms.
